Lance Porter is the Senior Chemical Applications Engineer at Diversified Fluid Solutions. He is responsible for chemical and slurry systems design, project coordination, and assisting the engineering department on detailed design and drafting. With extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of ultrapure chemical systems, he brings over 25 years of semiconductor industry experience in engineering, project coordination, manufacturing, and was a respected leader in site facilities operation.

Prior to joining DFS in 2014, Lance worked for 20 years in various roles in Micron Technology’s Chemical Service Department including Technician, Lead, Project Coordinator, Supervisor and in Micron’s Engineering department focused on facility and chemical systems design. Lance also worked at IBM in the facilities and chemical group at the Almaden Research Site and served in the US Navy on board the USS California CGN-36 as a Machinist Mate.

Lance holds a Certification in Propulsion Engineering (US Navy), Idaho State Journeyman Special Electrical license and Teflon and PVDF welding certifications. Lance served as a HAZMAT team member for both IBM and Micron. When not working, Lance enjoys golf, bowling, and honing in his skills in barbecueing and smoked bacon-wrapped prime rib is his specialty.
