DFS Solvent System for IBM

Recently DFS partnered with IBM to develop a new system designed for a hazardous solvent chemical in a Class 1 Div. 2 environment. This chemical system was unique not only for the application but the challenges of utilizing components rated for this classification. DFS also engineered a new 4 point load cell system allowing the tank to be weighed accurately with components specifically rated for this environment. The 4 point load cell system was designed to allow the tank to set evenly on all four loading points, made from 1/2" Stainless Steel sheet, and a unique feature allowing each load cell to be replaced without the tank being lifted. The system will deliver up to 5 gpm of solvent to the production areas with 10 supply risers in a Valve Manifold Box also designed by DFS.
